General principles
The future service must prohibit unlawful network use, telecom fraud, abusive calling or messaging, interference with network infrastructure and misuse of another subscriber's identity or credentials.
Examples of prohibited conduct
- Robocalling or bulk unsolicited messaging where unlawful or unapproved.
- Premium-rate or international revenue-share fraud.
- Account takeover, SIM swap abuse, unlawful porting or identity impersonation.
- Attempts to bypass rate limits, security controls or supplier restrictions.
- Misuse of API credentials, penetration of third-party systems without authority or cross-partner data access.
- Using services in countries or on products for which permissions are absent.
Enforcement and remedies
Actions should be proportionate and follow documented policies: detect, log, notify where appropriate, restrict an affected service, investigate and allow review or escalation. Emergency or regulatory obligations take precedence. The final contract must specify rights, notices and appeal routes.
Draft status
The precise terms and allowed use thresholds will be agreed with upstream suppliers and legal advisers before any live service is offered.
